The Ajatar, Marabbecca and Ill-Belliegha aren't creations of Humon, but I would wager that the Hvidslangen and the Wellman are probably fictitious, yeah. Tbh I do still include them in L&O just because I still think they're cool creatures which might have some kind of slim chance of being really folkloric, but I doubt it. Lol, I meant Humon stole those ideas fromthe Ajatar an Marabbecca, those monsters sound much like those monsters.

Ah yeah, agreed. Actually, a 'Warriors of Myth' wiki user named 'HipsterFilter' found that the Den Sorte Mand (Wellman) may actually be a real creature - seeing as it's apparently a Danish boogeyman. Apparently they found it in a Google book, but I only just found their comment now and it was from February, so I'm not sure if they'll get back to me. If they do then I'll ask them for more information, and hopefully the name of the book in whcih they found the Wellman.

Hvidslangen (Ajatar) and the Wellmen (Marabbecca or Ill-Belliegha) are probably just made up by Humon as well... I don't really care for the kaster though, my Katsura-Otoko is looking a bit like that made-up thing anyway. The well man is real. I managed to find it online (I should put the website in my sources). Just a form of boogyman who lives in a well and nothing much else. Ah, here they are. Both were translated from Danish: Source 1Source 2
Heh, I keep finding stuff. Ok so the white snake, Hvidslagen, could possibly be real. This book mentions white serpents, and I think they feature somewhat prominently in Danish myth: Book

Thanks! Yeah, tbh if both the Wellman and the Hvidslagen turn out to be real, then maybe the Kaster stands some chance of existing? Also, while you're snooping around in Danish lore sources, coudl you try and locate the Tag Vandren? It used to be my favourite humanoid creature until I was convinced that it didn't exist because Humon appeared to have made it up. It's basically a Spring-Heeled Jack-like humanoid which behaves as if it's playing a game of 'the floor is lava'. It's apparently a modern urban legend - having been seen jumping from lamppost to lamppost, and apparently having once leapt so far across a football field in pursuit of a teenager that when the creature broke said teenager's back while landing on him.

Hmm. If it is from some small, obscure, book of folklore that's only ever been written in Danish, I don't know how we'll ever be able to track it down, unfortunately. I could see that being the case pretty easily, though. I might go ahead and give Humon the benefit of the doubt at this point, given that the Wellman is real and the Hvidslangen is (somewhat) likely to be as well. I wish we could find out the title of the book somehow.

Yeah, so it might actually just be the case that Humon found a load of really really obscure creatures, which were so obscure that people thought she'd made it up. I never would've thought that'd be the case, honestly. If only we could find the source for the Kaster, that'd be awesome. It would be a true christmas miracle 😂😂😂

It would be indeed! My personal hypothesis is that it's an allegory that she's personified. That said, the resemblance to Edward Cullen sparkling in the sunlight is somewhat bothersome. Can any of you think of a creature that has crystal/gem related features? My brain is bleh right now. All I can think of is dragons and their hoard, or gryphons. Dwarves...

Carbuncles, Karzelek but the bi/gay sexual thing gives it away that it is made up by humon, I mean all her Deadpool art is gay erotic, and I’m sure the Danish didn’t made up a beautiful gaysexual priest-seducing gem covered beauty boy. Im gay myself, but I just don’t believe in this creature’s realness at all. It’s much to vague.

Yeah, I just remembered she had a weird thing for priests. Ugh.

Hmm yeah - Idk though, there wasn't actually anything in the original description about it seducing people - it was just drawn that way. Perhaps due to its connection with corrupting priests, she decided to draw it in a sexualised way if, as you say, she has a thing for priests? The description just struck me as a cautionary tale/temptation creature instead of a sex-based entity. It was the illustration that did that.
