we have all read some books or wikis that have creatures that well are not really mentioned in a whole lot of places and dont have much for sources listed so this thread is where you can post them and hope somebody has found a good source saying its a real myth
anyway I have found some
aguane, albastor, alklha/alicha ( clarifying on Alklha i see it exists but the element of encyclopedia of magical creatures has more detail)

Somebody can help me on information about the MaçonesIt is suppose to be some creature covered in metal/copper plates that can turn into a black goat and eats mostly children. It comes from Brazilian (or other South American) mythology? It is used in a boardgame named The Elephant and Macaw Banner together with Boitata and Cuca among others.

From that list I like to know more about these pearls:
Ayalga: Nymphs that guard vast treasures in caves or palaces, alongside dragons. Some were cursed into the role, but many just do it from the get-go. Only go outside during a single night of every year, and may offer some of their riches to the men that seek them out if they follow certain rituals. A dragon whose Ayalga has abandoned them for good succumbs to despair and abandons the land.
Crespell: Cave-dwelling, child-eating monsters covered in warts that spew flames from their eyes. Always appear in groups of seven: six tiny ones and one gigantic.
Zarronco: A child-eater that usually takes the form of a huge insect
Avelainya: Spectral butterfly that can be black or white depending on whether it brings good or bad omens. Might be related to Cuques, glowing worms that appear at night and are likened to the souls of the dead
Martinet: Born from mushrooms, extremely fast, easy to anger, and outrageously powerful, capable of changing the course of rivers or altering mountains. Is repelled by snake drool
Negret: Black goblin that turns into a pile of coins if someone touches it while holding a candle
Patinga: A newt/salamander that is not only intensely poisonous but makes parts of one’s body disappear just by touching them
Pericó: Tiny spirit associated with metal that grows into a giant of solid iron when exposed to fire, smashing all in its wake. Blacksmiths strike their anvils three times before work in order to keep it at bay
En Micó: A spirit of brine that turns everything it touches into salt, living beings included
Peladits: A tall, thin ogre covered in black hair that controls armies of lice.
Nyitus: Microscopic beings that enter humans through the nose, mouth of ears, settling in the brain. Rather than kill, they induce a deep sleep in their hosts as they drink their memories.
Mufosu: A forest-dwelling creature sometimes said to be made of moss and sometimes said to take the form of a frog. Kind in nature, often surrounded by birds that nest in its body, and can disappear amidst vegetation if discovered. Loves mushrooms
Apariatenc: Humanoids from “northern lands” described as transparent, tongue-less and reproduce through their sweat, which freezes and solidifies when exposed to air

Well anyway, I'm gonna use the following ones already in this way:
Crespell (Spanish) – Aberration (Medium)(Hostile) = Kinda shaped like a bowling cone, this man-sized warty horror has 6 smaller versions around itself as protection, when you kill all 6 of those first the creature will shrink in size everytime you hit it, eventually it turns as small as it's 6 smaller bodies and then it only takes one more hit. The disgusting warts covering its body may pop and spray acid everywhere, the small bodies will also spray acid when you destroy them.
Zarronco (Spanish) – Vermin (Large)(Hostile) = Very vague descriptions, but I still need Dragonfly monsters, I really hate the Callabaor del diablublabla so not gonna use those, Zarronco (awesome named) is my monstrous child-snatching dragonfly monster now.
Pericó (Spanish) – Elemental / Shifter (Small/Huge)(Neutral) = The most awesome find of all time, these are small iron/metal elementals, being vaguely formed like gnomes, when they see fire, being attacked with fire (and metal is weak to fire) they turn into an enormous force of metal destruction, I'm thinking of turning them into quicksilver-beings.
En Micó (Spanish) – Elemental (Medium)(Hostile) = A dangerous and cruel elemental made entirely from salt and brine, they can slowly destroy the moisture around them turning everything organic and fleshy into a pile of salt.
Peladits (Spanish) – Aberration / Tulpa (Large)(Hostile) = Related to the Keukegen, and also a tulpa created by people who fear filth and itching skin diseases, these ogre sized humanoid-like creatures are entirely made from black hairs, inside their black hairs live millions of small lice which they can control to do their bidding, terrorizing all other hairy creatures with itch and disease.

This is an amazing index. I suggest making its own thread for it.

(Is this the right place for this?) I've got one, the Kaster, Kraster, or kestaur. Humon (some of you may know of them) supposedly said they're from Swedish myth. Absolutely no luck finding a source. I've got this link, but nothing via google books. warriorsofmyth.wikia.com/wiki/Kaster

The general consensus on the Kaster is that Humon made it up. They seem to have a history of inventing creatures, and multiple people have tried to track down some kind of mention of it to no avail. A while back Wesley Schneider, one of Pathfinder's writers, tried to track it down as a potential creature to write up officially for Pathfinder, and he couldn't find anything on it.

Yeah, which really sucks. I still use the Kaster in L&O cos I still feel that there's a slim possibility that it's actually real - and it's a fairly cool creature concept anyway - but tbh I think it's probably made up. I was actually really upset when I discovered that the Tag Vandren (Spring-Heeled Jack like creature which effectively behaves like it's playing a game of 'the floor is lava') was likely made up by Humon, cos it was my favourite mythological humanoid up until that point.

Hvidslangen (Ajatar) and the Wellmen (Marabbecca or Ill-Belliegha) are probably just made up by Humon as well...
I don't really care for the kaster though, my Katsura-Otoko is looking a bit like that made-up thing anyway.

The Ajatar, Marabbecca and Ill-Belliegha aren't creations of Humon, but I would wager that the Hvidslangen and the Wellman are probably fictitious, yeah. Tbh I do still include them in L&O just because I still think they're cool creatures which might have some kind of slim chance of being really folkloric, but I doubt it.
