I know I ask much, but can you tell me about your versions of the: Mekurabe, Druj, Okikumushi, Itsumade, Dorotabo, Mameleu, Tsemaus, Candileja, Wechuge, Phobetor, Adze, Zhenniao, Akheilos, Muirdris, Nalusa, Urcututo, Berberoka, Ichneumon and Bloody Mary?
I'm really curious what roles they have in your project!
The fusion into one creature-thing is awesome! My version of the Cwn Annwn have such an ability, three dogs can fuse together to become a more powerful version, this has connection to the wild hunt.

I have not gone into detail with new ideas for all creatures in my project but no problem. Mekurabe- maybe for a game mechanic turn the staring contest into it being weak to enemies going against it face to face and one on one defense wise but it also gains attack. but If it gets to the side or behind its opponent it does more damage. abilities- loud cackling, summons floating skull minions, dark attribute bite attack, vomits a bunch of skulls on top of opponent. its not particularly mobile but it can collapse into smaller skull which roll a very short distance then reform
Druj- is basically exactly a big insect demon lady broodmother with disease/status effect powers like in the myth
Okikumushi- they are ghost- like insects I may have a contradiction issue there as I am keeping Okiku as an Npc.
Itsumade- im not using itsumade. its one of the better ones I havent decided to use yet tho
Dorotabo- originally dorotabo was not going to be particularly mobile but I have decided as they are attacjhed to their muddy environments they are one of few creatures that bring it with them. they can swim through muddy environments any distanceand can even bring a sort of mudslde with them to most environments.
Mameleu- another creature that changes its environment I havent decided what the green liquid it spits out does but ts an attack and it will be pretty good in settings with water even against water based enemies.
im not actually using Tsemaus either Im still stuck on what to do with them.
Candileja- a vicious fire ghost woman can use most fire abilities. if this ends up a game it will include monster collecting and shes evil enough to be hard to recruit
Wechuge- they are people but they get great strength and ice powers from like polar bear or mammoth spirits that possess and control them
Phobetor- as the personification of nighmares this creature exists primarily in the dreamworld. in my project their is a type of mage called dreamers they go as far as casting the sleep status on themselves in the middle of battle they can enter the dream world and capture dream and nightmare monsters. they can even enter the heads of enemies afflicted with the sleep status battling nightmare creatures that represent the stats of the enemy monster defeating them and lowering their moral weakening them or even turning phobias against the enemy in battle. phobetor is a boss level monster within the dream world. if recruited Phobetor, Baku, and some other creatures can also do this.
Adze-a big Vampiric firefly im cutting out the human form
Zhenniao- im not using, poison feathers birds are cool but it doesnt have much to set apart from all the poisonous snakes, insects, and other monsters.
Akheilos- my main shark person species. smaller and cuter than normal in reference to the origin of a handsome boy who pissed off aphrodite by saying he was " fairer than Aphrodite" probably the most arbitrary movement from individual to a whole species in my whole project.
Muirdris- basically a mutated magical crown of thorns starfish. that can be weird enough right it doesn't need to be incomprehensible?
Nalusa- its long thin vaguely humanoid and kind of mad of darkness so it can move like snake or like it has no bones
Urcututo- owls that are good at magic. they make good familiars for any kind of mage. relatively weak
Berberoka- Ogre like with backs and heads covered in moss, pond scum, and plants that grow by the shore. actually very stealthy you could go a whole battle without realizing there are more enemies on the battle field and then get attacked. they specialize in knocking land based opponents into water. sleep a lot
Ichneumon- they may end up being Giant magical mongooses. anyway lets see what would a anti dragon creatures do maybe armor piercing bite, immunity to fire and poison, some sort of dragon weakening bacteria in it mouth. stil much to think about
Bloody Mary- hmm havent put a lot of thought into this one being in a mirror is her shtick I guess it could be an item you hold facing the enemy chant her name 3 times and she stabe them a bunch. either way shes pretty mid tier strength and demonic.

Thanks for your descriptions! I have some more questions later about earlier posted pictures, but these are awesome already!
Mekurabe: You gave it awesome abilities! I like the skull minions and the vomit attack! In my project the Mekurabe is a skull/lesser version of the Gashadokuro, looking very different though.
Druj Nasu: Like a broodmother of flies? I love her ability to corrupt the land around her, at least I think I saw that in some variants of her myth.
Okiku-Mushi: Okiku is the lady that committed suicide right? You use it as butterfly, I use it more as a giant monstrous fey caterpillar, related to the Awd Goggie, her venom drains happiness and causes suicides and on her back are giant horns/spikes covered in silk, with victims/birds/bats covered in silk between the spikes, like they are trapped in a spiders-web.
I have the same problem with Itsumade.
I love your Dorotabo ability! Very awesome!
Mamaleu I never heard of before? Is the green spit in the myth or did you gave that ability yourself? Sounds interesting!
I’m not using Tsemaus either, mostly because I already have more than enough sharp-dorsal finned monsters in Ziphius and Sverdhvalur.
Candileja, so your project also has the collecting/recruiting monsters feature? Awesome! In my project the Candileja is the undead remain of a fire hag/Soucouyant which always reanimates right after she dies. When Soucouyants die they burst into flames and instantly become a Candileja, like in your version the Candileja has many fire-based abilities and spells, even more so than the Soucouyant when she was still alive.
Very interesting idea about the Wechuge! I’m not using the creature at the moment, though I like your version!
Phobetor: It is also a dream-world boss in my project, the Deity of Nightmares, God of all Dream-World creatures such as Nue, Incubi and Nocnitsa. In my project you can only encounter dream-battles when you use the REST feature, while it heals your HP, sometimes you are attacked during your sleep, triggering a dream-battle with random dream-based monsters. Phobetor isn’t in this random battles, he will be in the storyline.
Adze: Yeah, the human form makes it difficult, still I’m using the Adze really close to the real-myth lately, probably because of some pictures I’ve seen.
Zhenniao: Oh, I always loved these poison birds, because birds aren’t poisonous in the real world, so that is a great feature. Lately I found a cool option for the Zhenniao, in my project they are created when a Caladrius (the healing bird) absorbs too much poisons into its body, then the result will be a Zhenniao, a evil/corrupted/insane with pain based Caladrius, it’s feathers dripping with the vile poison it absorbed from a victim.
Akheilos are just early-encounter sharks in my project, I'm not sure about wereshark like creatures though, maybe the Native American one can function as that.
Muirdris: You use it as giant starfish (my favorite the crown of thorns) I use it as monstrous jellyfish. Muirdris is one of my favorite monsters in mythology, so much is possible with this insane creature. I’m happy abookofcreatures posted it, otherwise I would still think this is some random dragon creature. I would have used it as Crown of Thorns creature if not for the Mooldabbie, which is now a crown of thorns-based monster in my project. But I really like your version!
Nalusa: I love that version and picture! Good work! In my project I turned them into a sub-species of Pukwudgie, using their black quills to create anger, evil and hatred in their victims. They look like black pukwudgies, but more animalistic, more sinister, they have long tails and don’t use tools like Pukwudgies do, they are more feral and cruel (if that is even possible lol)
Thanks for the Urcututo, for both giving me another creature starting with the U (which are rare) and for giving me a starter awesome owl monster! Didn’t know this one before!
Berberoka: Very difficult creature, so many forms in the myth, I only really dislike the mermaid version, which doesn’t make sense to me. I like your ogre variant and the lazy mention! I use the Berberoka as a plant monster, they are aquatic versions of the Jidra (wrong name I know, but I’m attached to it), which in turn are like the D&D Shambling Mound, the Berberoka however is totally made from seaweed/aquatic plants, while the Jidra is made up from land-based plants. Like in the myth my Berberoka can absorb/suck in water and become bigger in mass while doing so, after it absorbed enough water they can release it from a maw-like feature on their body in a very powerful water spray, knocking even a giant prone. Because my version of the Berberoka is made of seaweed, fishermen and other swimmers don’t realize the water is absorbed by the otherwise non-living-looking creature (a mermaid would be obvious to notice, a aquatic plant not so much)
Ichneumon: They are the ideal anti-dragon creature. In my project they are very resistant to dragon attacks, and they do lots of damage to both Drake, Dragon AND Reptilian classed creatures which all fear them and can’t act/attack most of the time. Against other creatures the Ichneumon are less effective, but still they are pretty powerful for small creatures.
Bloody Mary: Spirits of vanity and anger in my own project, they travel between mirrors, attacking beautiful creatures which their jealousy and wrath triggers. They can use glass like the Evil Queen from the Huntsman movies, making mirrors burst and forming the broken glass into minions. They can also be summoned, but only by ugly/normal looking creatures, beautiful creatures that call her name in the mirror are instantly attacked and murdered. She also uses a beautiful mirror knife made from pure glass, and her spectral skin is covered with glass-splinters, like a mirror or window has exploded into her face.
The other creatures from your list I'm curious about are: Satyrus / Sooterkin / Rubezhal / Aeternae / Gong Gong / Pua Tu Tahi / Malebete / Curracuca / Albastor / Scolopendra / Bakru / Xtabay / Mufosu / Teugghia

You are welcome Okiku is the one that was murdered by samurai who wanted to sleep with her with the excuse that she supposedly dropped one of his families plates and she is now a ghost that constantly counts plates.
huh I read somewhwere the Mameleu spat out a green liquid. might have been on Monstropedia oh well.
Satyrus- not using but i thought it was interesting enough to draw at least once.
Sooterkin- not using but it could be a just about anything and it seems cute. definitely a fire attribute monster too.
Rubezhal- not using this one It sounds like a giant evil Gandalf with some Vegetable themed magic or that creature from the weird art but either way idk.
Aeternae- not using. its weird how I assumed a bipedal shape but I guess it would be like the knife headed Kaiju if I decide to use it
Gong Gong- very strong and Kaiju sized related to dragons. throws tantrums as counter attacks. extremly clumsy and non-elligant fighter
Pua Tu Tahi- its going to have coral attached to it body and is either going to be shaped like an Axolotl or a crab.
Malebete- turns to stone when not moving or attacking. high defense and attack. lowers the stats of any nearby beautiful female monster or human
curracuca- are a diminutive clumsy hairy beings no one knows whats under there. they enjoy scaring people but are relatively friendly as they are terrible predators
Albastor- flying covered in hair with an incredible beard that trails behind him. he still can drive people that have to much sex into having sex to death. this can dfinitely have sidequest potential like a village ask you to drive him out. If their is a breeding mechanic I guess he could increase the chances of an egg or baby monster appearing. oh any monster that get seduced by this power is easy to recruit similar to how succubi will work
Scolopendra- this is a pretty new addition but its now one of my favorite insect monsters. on land it can charge, if it throws up its stomach it can cause a lot of status effects.
Bakru- not using yet. probably going to leave them the same but with some magic skills.
Xtabay- okay so as goddess of suicide she could lower moral, inflict some sort of status effects. when physically attacked it often wounds the attacker instead. lots of instant death attacks.
Mufosu- a plant type monster frog shaped. you can put small monster or monster eggs inside of it which can change its abilities, stats, etc plus they will gain exp and hatch quicker. small bird type monsters can pop out of its back to peck at enemies. has a chance of causing random bird monster to join you.
Teugghia- not using. just wanted t draw it once.

Awesome! Thanks for the descriptions, too bad most of those are not in your project :-p I'm only using Albastor, Skolopendra, Xtabay, Bakru, Mufosu, and Pua Tu Tahi from this bench of creatures. And because of you, I'm thinking of adding the Malebete again. I think you confuse the Xtabay with the Ixtab though, Ixtab seems to be the goddess of suicide, while Xtabay seems to be more about traps and luring. I only use the Xtabay in my project, they are some jungle-rougher version of the Alraune (Castevania version) instead of a giant rose the Xtabay is a giant Venus Flytrap with a dryad-like nymph growing out of it, which can move freely and which lures victims into the giant trapping maws of the plant. Xtabay in my project are named after the goddess, because they resemble trap-like flowers. Albastor is a creature I always doubting about, I may use it or cut it again. It is linked to my Katsura-Otoko, they are both night/moon/star based male nymphs with very pretty features and long flowing purple/pink hair, the Albastor can fly like a pink comet though, and is naked, but his extremely long white/purple hair covers his private parts, as my game isn't sexual, they work for the Sinlord of Lust, but that is everything about it that is lusty, they don't use sexual diseases in my project, they do kidnap pretty creatures for their collection. Bakru, I use them as miniature wood-golem dolls, the weakest and smallest of the wood golems, Wulgaru and Wicker Man being much bigger wood golem variants. Bakru often hunt in pairs. Mufosu, I'm using it much like you do, but not as plant but as amphibian covered in thick layers of moss and vines, with birds (or Xan Mosquito's) living inside it's back. Skolopendra, is just a bigger more vile version of the Con Rit in my project, I really love your art for it, it looks much like a giant isopod from the sea! My charybdis and Lakuma are already based on those insects so I still use the Skolopendra as Ragworm monster. Pua Tu Tahi was once my coral-type golem thing, but now my Planctae/Symplegades kinda took that role as living walking reef-elementals, the Pua Tu Tahi more resembles the art which I always connected with it, that of a giant clam. I really love your Axolotl version, I would use it above the crab version! That malebete is very awesome! Makes me want to use it again! But more as an anti-Fae bear type horror which does extra damage against all fey/fae creatures, spare for trolls and hags. Can't wait till you post more.

1) asipatra, nosoi/aerico, Achlys, Ate, momus, aniwye, nuberu, betobeto-san, yacuruna, papinijuwari 2) anabiel, hua-hu tiao, bezkost, enenra, al, todaiki, mo'o, kanazuchibo, okka, Hala, Ashinaga+ Tenaga 3) Osakabe hime, Ushirogami/buruburu, haradashi, otakemaru, sarugami, Mikoshi Nyudo, drude, troll cat, devil jack diamond fish, el silbon Asipatra- razor sharp feather and beak and a nest made spears and thorns. when it is unable to bring or build its nest anything that can hit it will probably defeat it quickly but they will get cut pretty badly and its also very hard to hit nosoi and aerico are both greek disease demons with nosoi being from pandoras box being the only difference. i believe i based it on the shape of a real virus, maybe an axolotl, and probably keramon from digimon too. it releases clouds of diseases and viruses from its head. Achlys, Ate, and Momus are all greek gods and goddesses but they were all pretty brutally removed from mount Olympus. Achlys is the goddess of misery, sadness, and all that. she has a pretty scary description I also added shes gangly, tall, hunched over, gave her huge eyes and eternal eye waterfalls, Ate is the goddess of mischief, delusion, ruin, and folly and successfully uses this against gods and heroes, momus is the god of humor, satire, parody etc. you can imagine the greek gods disnt take criticism too well Ahinaga and Tenaga- Ashinaga are primarily female, as tenaga are smaller and cling to ashinaga backs the ashinaga must also be the intimidating face of the duo, ashinaga wear their hair very long and wild and tenaga enjoy the warmth and safety of it. you can capture them separately however they wont doo much unless teamed up osakabe hime is a kitsune like former goddess she lives in castle walls, dark spaces, and such her hair fills up the crawl spaces all spiders, mice, snakes and foxes around the castle work with her.

Awesome again!
Can you tell more about your versions of the Papinijuwari, Hala, Todaiki, Bezkost, Nuberu, Aniwye, Yacuruna and the Hua-Tu Tiao?

Post by chaoticmythboy on Sept 14, 2018 16:59:26 GMT
sure thing! Papinijuwari- cyclopses that summon or intercept meteors and whack them towards their prey. they use anti-gravity magic to jump large distances and land without injury.
Hala- im going primarily with the 3 headed dragon version each head has a different breath weapon- fairies and wind, disease, spells and curses. all the heads can also unleash a blast of lightning. she can control all kinds of storms. always accompanied by a storm. not a witch in my project but knows enough spells a witch could learn from her.
Todaiki- people turned into living candle demons complete with melting constantly dripping wax for flesh, occasional eerie second faces on the candle flame, fireball blasts, and creepy laughs or screams depending on their personalities. you find most of them hanging on the walls of monster filled japanese, chinese, and gothic castles. when you recruit them they can walk or use a ornate giant candlstick holder to jump around
bezkost- still not sure yet
Nuberu- is a bearded goblin that rides a mini storm cloud.
Aniwye- this giant skunks spray will be powerful enough to stun a dragon, and most of it sprays will have a wide and long enough range that allies are more than likely to get hit as well.
Yacuruna- ferocious finfolk with backwards facing heads and toothy jaws. they can control animals and always have a crocodile and a boa companion. they build cities underwater.
Hua-tu-tiao- a winged half rat half elephant looking creature. im trying to avoid most size changing creatures but this one probably does change sizes.

Papinijuwari, cool, you seem to focus more on the meteor part of the creature which is cool, I focus more on their disease features, in my project they are alien cyclops allies of the Argolito or Grey Aliens, not sure yet. They hold eerie lanterns in which they collect all types of diseases, they also keep humanoids like human do sheep, and infect them with diseases to create new diseases which they collect. They fly through the air like a meteor, but can't clash onto earth like the Argolito.
I really love that description of the Todaiki! Makes me want to use the creature myself!
Hala, I'm using this creature as the air/wind/storm based hag, being able to turn into a whirlwind and use almost all wind and lightning based spells, also summoning hail-storms. What do you mean with the faeries/wind head?
Bezkost can be used in many ways of course, I'm using them much like the Skin Kite of D&D, but it drinks the blood of its victims and also drains away their skin to add to it's own disgusting mass.
Nuberu I use pretty much the same, but instead of a goblin, I use a Gnome :-p They are my air/wind gnomes.
Aniwye, I love that they also spray their own allies, that is a cool twist! In my project their stench can only be removed by magical water, otherwise the victim will stink forever :-p
Why do you avoid size-changing creatures?

ooh a disease collector I like that description. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ala_(demon) under appearance there is a 3 line stanza of a spell describing the dragon forms breath weapons avoiding size changing is my one left over thing from trying to make the monsters all be natural and realistic but greatly enhanced by magic. when it does crop up my explanation is they disperse their body into molecules to shrink and absorb them to grow.

1) Henky, Baobhan sidthe, Mavka, Santer, Black Bird of Chernobyl, yarthkins, Vanth, enepsigos 2) Gyl Burnt Tail, Mazikeen, Bean Nigh, Kilmoulis, wag-by-the-way, duppy's, falasitax, boggart, ly erg, dybbuk, banaspati, nebutori, fylgiar, mooncalf 3) dodola, pesta, the shivering boy, count Arneau, serra, clootie, it, fei, roggenwolf, horned cat, langtutten, dobie, -Henky are going to be wildly dancing fairies with long but unstable legs they are more wild and mischievous than default normal fairies. I know the idea of a default tiny vaguely humanoid winged fairies is relatively new but i do not feel it takes away from other creatures being fairies. - Baobhan Sidthe the vampires of the fairy world they like vampire bats can feed without doing much harm to their victims though they are larger. they mainly attack with rapid swipes of their cat like claws. they are faster and less magical than average fairies and might not share the dark attribute of vampires -Mavka the flowers in hair, lack of a back, and visible organs made me think of like a body made or vine like plants forming a skeleton like structure and maybe wrapped around a partial skeleton and some half plant half organs inside they are the spirits of deceased women ( women get to be all the cool monster spirits and reincarnations I guess) anyway her plant face probably looks fine but she is going to wear a porcelain mask to look more human. can use vines to tickle anything that get to close causing them to jump back. use all the vine whipping and ensnaring abilities. - Yarthkins are a drifting mass of nature spirits. a mix of earth/plant and water spirits in this case. its going to have trees going like antlers. - Vanth are friendly underworld guide demons. they have eye covered wings are skilled with swords and can use their torches for fire magic. - Enepsigos she has 3 heads their hair is all tied together support a heavy decorative half moon on top of her heads representing her role as a moon demon. I also gave her some extra arms.
-Gyl Burnt Tail fiery spirit like fairies.very flirty, they are also known to seduce men. they talk a lot in a combination of poetry, flirting, and absolutely filthy rhymes. give a boost to all fire monsters nearby. - Mazikeen are not a powerful as normal imps but they always group together and cause chaos they love alchohol, partying, eating, lewdness, and mischief. their effects in combat are unpredictable but likely to leave many drunk, passed out, and some blasted away by flurries of weak spells. - Bean Nigh she has one large fang, webbed claws, huge breasts, and powerful magic. if you can sneak up on her and suck her breast you are now her child and can make 1 wish including the wish for her to join your party. - Kilmoulis is just a brownie with a big nose but I liked how it looks and recruiting lot of monster to assist you will be a great way to make money, find items, and some will just be around to boost the morale or friendship of the party. it will be obvious that they should only participate in combat very early on.
- wag- by-the-way devoted loyal fire fairies they are cat like in appearance and behavior. they must always have a fire to sleep in and do not like strangers -dybbuk these demons rather than fully possess people they turn invisible and stick to people using a glue like substance from pouches they have they whisper in the persons ear trying to get them to do what they wish done. their glue is incredibly sticky and slows down anything that steps in it. they can climb or cling to anything. -Ly Erg- despite fairies being weak to iron this one insists on being the greatest swordsman if you beat him he will join your party. however he may be unsatisfied without a one on one sword fight. takes damage in battle if using an iron weapon. can drain health from enemies. one hand permanently stained red. wears a huge feather in his hat to look taller- do not comment on his height -Fylgiar a duo of fairies one is clean, whole, and shiny, the other is damaged, torn up, and worn down looking. they can symbolize how someone will die. in battle they team up many of their abilities are a gamble will they help allies or hurt enemies. either way most outcomes are beneficial. - nebutori- a yokai that likes thicc women. can make women gains lots of weight over night. hmm I suppose succubi will have different body types in this project but I do not know what this creature will really do. - mooncalf its unknown if they are magically mutated cows that had detrimental mutations or if they are aliens.
- dodola- these plant fairies love to dance and sing. they are in the favor of the thunder god Perun who will send rain showers their way. from a distance they look vaguely like girls but they are plants. can heal, make plants grow, and do bard stuff - pesta- basically plague/disease ghosts they might be a type of hag - the shivering boy- ghost boys with ice powers and tragic backstories. the small boy version of Yuki onnas and Jack frost are essentially the same thing as them. -Count Arneau- a one of kind undead cursed to be enternally covered in fire. can summon hellhounds as well. in my project one of kind creatures are often made into species and even if not they are sometimes recruitable sometimes however instead of recruiting a large on of a kind creature you might recruit like a smaller copy of it. - Serra- are sea serpents that enjoy moving across the surface of water by turning sideways and using their huge fins as sails. - clootie - from scotland are going to be the basic wingless fiery goat hoofed horned demons. because the name amuses me. the other variety of generic demons with wings, pointy tails, and sometimes horns will probably just be called demons - roggenwolf- wolf monsters made of plants - langtuttin- a demon with huge breasts with black veins on them one contains milk, one contains a mix of horrible dangerous substances

Cool, what about It, Banaspati, Santer and the Fala-something snake?

Post by chaoticmythboy on Sept 16, 2018 13:11:21 GMT
Banaspati- are going to be fiery floating skulls surrounded by fireballs- im thinking animal skulls at the moment, they are going to be pretty common.
Falajitax- a colorful snake with a head like a rhea. it has multiple hearts to revive itself but it controls a human corpse like a puppet and that does most of its fighting and serves a a meatshield.
it- gooey, wire haired, and tentacled this is going to be a shapeshifter but none of its forms will be make much sense to human eyes.
Santer- lithe feline creature with a big head and a long armored tail with eight bumps it uses for clubbing prey to death. many fearsome critters may be creatures from the imagination made permanently real.
Fei- are huge ox monster with snakes for tails, one eye, and a poisonous abdomen that drips poison ont anything it walks over leaving a poisonous trail behind.

It is the only one I use from that list, it is a ooze which absorbs creatures into it's mass so it can take their forms, much like the monster from the Thing (movie 1982).
Falajitax, it is only because of the rhea-head that I don't like this creature, the puppeteer thing is pretty awesome!
Banaspati, thinking of using these myself, I could use some flying skull monsters!
Santer sounds the same as the Ball-Tailed Cat, but with a better name!

1) tiddalick, devil bird, Xaphan, bishop fish, aije, poole pyramid, gawigawen, cipactli, abura akago, dover demon, green clawed beast, kap dwa, bigorne, chicheface 2) Zipacna, bulgu, neeshja, kozlak, vucub caquix, ix-hunpedzkin, lebraude, pilwiz, chesma iyasi, xan, bisan, camazotz 3) Obayifo, slogutis, beannachnimhe, mmoatia, sluagh, ghillie dhu, raven mocker, zamzummin - tiddalik are going to be frogs that swallow massive amounts of water. they like to spray blasts of water at enemies and predators. when attacked they bounce around and hit anything they come in contact with pretty hard. - devil bird- a pretty iconic cryptid name and it sounds like the kind of name a village would give to a monster they want gotten rid of. they will be evil demonic owl that are about as big as an adult human. -xaphan- going to have a problem with this one as it looks exactly like another tiny fire demon I drew - Bishop Fish is pretty much just going to be weird fish but it will be light attribute for the reference to its names origin. - aije- similar to tiddalik however even as a tadpole aije is already the size of a hippo and does not seem to turn into frog at all. it can blast water, use magical songs, and powerful tackles using it heavy weight. its very critical of other abilities. - the pool pyramid- is a strange alien creatures appearing as a pyramid made of smaller shifting colorful pyramid shapes. it has huge crab like claws ad one huge eye - gawigawen- a giant with 6 heads and huge weapons. his shield and axe do not take up half the sky. but they are big enough to block a lot of sunlight - cipactli- I went the wrong direction with this one it should have been more about being an eldritch horror covered in mouths and less about being a giant crocodile frog hybrid. - abura akago- a floating long tongued baby made of oil and sometimes on fire is unique enough for me -Dover demon- its iconic and i thought i found all the cool monsters already at that time. - green clawed beast- bright green claws are just unique enought to stand out. - Bigorne and Chicheface - I made these 2 the male and female of their species which has extreme sexual dimorphism. the bigorne is big and blubbery in every way possible, since its name also refers to a type of anvil I mad its head and horns shaped like an anvil. its very slow but has good physical strength so any that think they will automatically assume they have an advantage over it usually men often end up its prey. as a species they are kind of between wolves and cows. the chicheface is smaller and thinner even when one is well fed they are much more lithe. their long jaws are good for flustering their prey or snatching small prey away from mothers. hey are sneaky but they are not as skilled as the predators they must compete with so even if they have successful hunts or the Bigorne brings back food they are often emaciated and starving. - Zipacna- a bipedal crocodile deity/demon arrogant and cruel, can make mountains and earthquakes. has an attraction to crabs apparently. - vucub caquix- father of zipacna a giant macaw deity/demon hes very powerful and even pretends to be the sun and the moon - bulgu- an creature with an axe like face. - neeshja- I included the owl god that tells people not to masturbate because i just like having humor about this. - kozlack- baby vampire basically - Pilwiz a harmless corn spirit that was later said to have scythes on its feet and attack people. I made it insect like. like praying mantises - xan- mosquitoes mutated by drinking the blood of gods they are very big and very powerful glowing rings of magic float around their needle like mouths. - obayifo may be human witches but the colorful lights coming from their armpits and behinds set them apart. -beannachnimhe- this big beast has poisonous horns nuff said - Slogutis- little demons formed from human pain, misery, fears, and bad feelings. they eventually develop their own personalities that are pretty agreeable but are still influenced by whichever emotion created them. -Sluagh - spirits of the restless dead clumped together flying around. like yarthkins but weaker and made of human spirits instead nature spirits. can be malicious. appear on samhein/halloween - Ghillie dhu- a rare scottish fairy that does not murder people. appears as a small boy. has powerful magic - Zamzummin- giants. but they are only giant and powerful because by being undead spirits they are no longer limited by mortal lives.
