Long time no see. I did take a break from the mythical creature scene, and I honestly can't say I'll be around regularly, but I did find something interesting. If anyone has access to the source it may help with researching this creature. I was reading The Wonders of Creation and the Singularities of Painting by Stefano Carboni and in the sources page, he refers to "horses that can kill with a glance" and then mentions his own work, Il Kitāb al-bulhān di Oxford. Of course, this work is out of print and unavailable except through some university libraries (and in the case of New York, the public library. Sadly I am no where near there). The whole work is in Italian (not that I would mind a rough Google translate). The horses are possibly in the work he translated, the Kitāb al-bulhān, or in the book but from some version of the Alexander Romances (if you don't know what that is, it's basically ancient fanfiction of Alexander the Great). Anyway, it's cool to know there's gorgonesque horses in mythology but it sucks that the source is behind copyright and restrictive library access. EDIT: It seems it may be a misinterpretation of Pegasus. edspace.american.edu/silkroadjournal/v16_2018_compareti/
