Some new updates/changes.
Aetos: Giant eagle/vulture hybrid, but not as big as Roc or the elemental phoenix-like birds, the Aetos is as large as a horse. In my project their most notable feature is their extremely regenerative drool which can even bring back dead creatures to life, Aetos are cruel birds of prey and will keep their prey alive for as long as possible, sometimes devouring their organs multiple times, growing them back with their magical drool only to eat them again.
Astromyxin: These small ooze monsters most closely resemble the blob from the horror movies. They come from the same plane as the Grey Aliens in my project or came to earth through a meteor. They start out very small, but after absorbing flesh into their mass they can grow to enormous sizes.
Bagiennik + Salamander + Grylio: I’ve added the Salamander and Grylio to the Bagiennik, and now they are my monstrous salamander (Amphibian)
group.
Bolla + Kulshedra: Poor Tiamat and Snallygaster, I’ve cut them in favor of these new Chaos-based dragons. When the wyvern-like Bolla absorbs/causes enough chaos it will transform into the chaos dragon Kulshedra, the number of heads on this dragon (1, 2 or 3) will tell you how much chaos it caused before its transformation.
Haakapainizi: Giant locust monsters which feed mostly on young creatures, always attacking the youngest party member first. They are related to the Brucha, and they are signs of the approach of the Horseman of Famine. They are also known as Apocalypse Locusts in Mythika.
Aziwugum: A cold-climate variant of Bunyip, Gorgonopsid-like horrors with dog and walrus features, their magical tail is extremely powerful and long, while Bunyips have very small tails, unlike the Bunyip the Aziwugum’s body is covered in black scales.
Alukah: Strange small-dog sized leech monsters which cause their hosts to turn into blood draining vampires, of course the lazy Alukah then has an endless supply of fresh blood as it’s host becomes a blood-drainer.
Neades: Much like the Tyrannosaurus Rex from Jurassic Park.
Alp: A cousin to the Choukeshin butterfly swarm, but instead of brightly colored the Alps are white, black, indigo or purple in color. They feed on breath and energy of sleeping creatures and are mostly found near the protective Horerczy.
Cuegle: My dwarf-Oni’s, when an Oni spirit enters the body of a Dactyl/Dwarf it will turn its host into a Cuegle. Cuegle spend the day searching for promising children/babies with great heroic futures and eat/kill them. Their eyes can see the past, future and present and each have its own color.
Atunkai: Dobhar-Chu which live inside the lakes of an Amhuluk transform into these evil otter-monsters, unlike the friendly Dobhar-Chu the Atunkai is a vile, aggressive and evil creature, toying with their prey for hours before finally eating them.
Garkain + Popobawa: Garkain is a bat-like humanoid (without arms though, they have only bat-wings) with psychic abilities to control smells, they can create sweet or horrid smells inside the minds of their enemies/prey. Popobawa is a more powerful chaos-version of the Garkain.
Doppelganger: These are now creations/variants of the Grey Aliens, created by putting many types of DNA into a Grey Host, turning it into a true shapeshift artist.
Grotesque: They are now Tsukumogami, statues turned to life by their own will. There are no Gargoyle’s in my project, they are called Grotesque.
Horerczy: Monstrous Fiends appearing like giant humanoid Angler-Fish, their luminous light will lure Alps to them, from the alps they absorb energy and breath. Horerczy and Alp have a symbiotic bond together and Alps live inside the bodies of their Horerczy guardians, which are lazy hunters and use the Alps for easy food.
Mi-Ni-Wa-Tu: The final stage of the Huallepen aberration line, the Huallepen transforms at a certain age into a Camahueto and it becomes a land-based creature, then after a few years the Camahueto returns to the water and slowly transforms into its final stage, the Mi-Ni-Wa-Tu, these brightly-red colored horrid creatures will cause extreme pain around them with their gazes and aura’s, the pain their gaze brings will also deform their victims flesh, much like the Huallepen and Camahueto already did, but more powerful.
Swanmay: A variant of beast-nymph, Swanmay are gentle beast-nymphs with ties to Avians and most of all Swans. They are warriors who search for evil to destroy. They can’t lie and all creatures within their aura’s always must tell the truth.
Ixoxoctic: Crystal humanoids which can spin the air around them at incredible force, creating whirlpools or hurricanes around them. They control the crystals around them, turning them into powerful impaling weapons, bursting from underneath their enemies. They can be of any color or crystal.
Murgah Muggui: A giant Trapdoor Spider with intelligence matching a human, it mostly preys on humans as well. Their webs are very powerful like iron, hard to escape from these stalking horrors.
Djieien: Not a solifugid anymore but a normal spider, a necrosis spider which poison will create zombies and other undead, after the creature dies its own necrotic poison will resurrect it into undead form, the Undead Djieien is intelligent and evil and a very different creature from the living Djieien. The Undead Djieien knows it can create undead minions and often controls the actions of the zombies and other undead its poison creates. They are like Liches and you must destroy their heart to destroy the creature for good, if the heart (in the game a critical hit must be made against the Djieien) is not destroyed the creature will reanimate itself again.
Kobold + Karzelek + Pech: This group kinda changed a bit, Kobolds are weak mine-dwelling earth Gnomes with little powers over earth and rock, they hold pick-axe weapons and there is a candle on top of their heads.
Karzelek are more powerful and greedy Kobold variants which skin is covered with the crystals and gems they delve, they use these gems as weapons and have some magical abilities over rock, gem, and crystal. After a battle with them you are sure to get a lot of precious gemstones from their corpses.
Pech are very powerful Kobolds which have awesome magic over the element of earth, they often create Earth Elementals to protect their lairs and they hide themselves in an armor of pure earth or rock to become immune to harm until their armor is destroyed. (Kinda like the Diablo III enemies known as Primordial Scavenger)
Vouivre: I’ve changed their appearance to more suit the Pathfinder version of the Vouivre, though they look like Wyverns with their tail ending in the form of the living torso of a woman elf, they use this as a lure for their favorite prey; male humans. Wyvern the male variants eat only female creatures, male flesh is poisonous to them, while female flesh is poisonous to the Vouivre.
Shellycoat: Nothing really changed but they now always ride on the backs of a Sarmatian Sea Snail pet. Their game-sprites are really awesome!
Stolas: Named after a long forgotten Prince of Hell, Stolas are extremely intelligent fiendish/demonic owls in my project, they cover their bodies with magical and rare treasures and have many powerful magical spells at their disposal.
Libélula Diablu: Giant fiendish insects in the form of Dragonflies. There are seven colors of these insects all born from the souls of different sinners, Blue Libelula spawn from slothful souls, Red Libelula spawn from wrathful souls, Orange Libelula from gluttonous souls, Yellow Libelula from greedy souls, purple Libelula from prideful or narcissistic souls, Green Libelula are envious souls and pink Libelula spawned from lustful souls. They are often found as mounts for demons. NOTE: These are actually called differently in the Spanish Myth I took them from. Caballucos del Diablu is their mythological name, but I don't really like that name so I changed it.
