Four monsters that really got me doubting are the pig/eel Cuchivilu, the drought-yokai Hiderigami, the scary tale of Tailypo, and the meteor-humanoid Argolito.
But since I have other monsters for their roles, it's hard to add them, but still, they are awesome.
In the case of Cuchivilu I use the salamander Grylio, who enjoys poisoning everything around it, including the water it lives in, turning water and even health-potions into dirty poisonous goo.
Hiderigami, I have Apaosha and Vritra as drought creatures, and the Fachen and Abaasy have its appearance... If anyone knows something different with the Hiderigami (which I really wanted to use after reading the Creature Codex entry about it) let me know!
Tailypo is difficult, as I have both the Bauk and Nalusa Falaya, which are similar looking creatures in my project, Nalusa even sprouting the extremely long tail. I'm thinking of turning the Tailypo into a unique villain which is a Nalusa or a Bauk, but a named one.
Argolito is new to me, I really love this creature, but there are several similar creatures out there... First, it would look too much like my Empusa, with the flaming hair and whips, and the meteor thing (while perfect for medium-sized creatures) is already in the Papinijuwari and Gaasyendietha.

Cuchivilu- pretty neutral on this one but cool since I never heard of it before
Hiderigami- I like this one its like lady midday but less humanoid with its heat and drought aura around it. And the fact that the original was a goddess is cool. On my maybe list as well.
Argolito- I can't even find anything on this one but meteor monsters are a plus
Talypo- I like this creature a lot its in my bestiary. In my setting there tails are prized for being ridiculously soft and fluffy but its not worth having as they will track down anyone who has one and tear them apart. I think its general depiction as feline,it tearing people apart until there is nothing left, its tail obsession , and possible ability to reattach the lost tail set it apart.
OK my creatures for the day are
Aptaleon/calopus- a wolf with saw like horns Kap dwa- a fierce two headed giant said to be real there's even a mummy of it. Bakru- buyable fairy children part made of wood mischievous unhelful - maybe dryad related Mahaha- sharp clawed constantly laughing Bulgasari- Korean hybrid animal eats metal grows metal quills. Bunny man- axe murderer or ghost of axe murderer in bunny costume- would it be funny Luidaeg- sea witches. Already included but should they be non human monsters. Mephistopheles- demon from literature no description given

I love the Cuchivilu only because of this picture...My Lady Midday is called Poludnica, but they are nymphs of sunlight and light in general, they can cause heatstrokes but I never thought about drought, that is a cool one. The Horseman of Famine just gained another minion! Information about the Argolito can be found here: Argolito I also added the Argolito to my project, I just made it so that Albastor, Papinijuwari, and Gaasyendietha can only fly like a comet/falling star, they can't crash into the earth in meteor form, only Argolito can do such an attack, Gaasyendietha can summon swarms of small meteors from the sky. Empusa, well I changed her fire-color into purple fire and I removed her whip-weapon, she has bronze battle-glove weapons now both her hands and her legs have this. Tailypo is now a boss in my project. Now about your new creatures: I'm using Calopus, Bulgasari, and Mahaha in my project, two of those (Bulgasari and Mahaha) are among my favorite creatures. I love bulgasari because it eats metal, in my project I turned them into a Rust-Eating horror related to the dream-eating Baku, much like the Rust Monster from D&D they turn metal into rust and devour it through their tapir-like trunk. I really do not care about Mephistopheles and Bunny Man and will never use them. Bakru I like, but I never really added them, when I still needed Twin-based monsters in my project (a very long time ago) I used these for that role... but now I have the Cercopes and the Binaye-Ahani for that.

My rejected creatures for today are: (Click on the red names for a picture of what I like them to look like) Atui Koro Ekashi (Japanese) - Swallow monster, looks like a bag, can shift size to swallow boats. Bigorne (French) – Opposite of Chicheface, which I do use in my project. Cath Palug (Welsh) – Size shifting panther-like creature. Deogen (Belgian) – Creepy mist monster, the souls of its victims still haunt its misty body. Erymanthian Boar (Greek) – A big, monstrous nasty boar. Fear Dorcha (Irish) – Shadow Fae, assassins for evil unseelie leaders. Golfu (Maltese) – Giant owl which turns people into stone by screeching. Helhest (Danish) – Three legged spiritual death-horse. Isogashi (Japanese) – A strange humanoid with blue skin, it possesses people's minds, the people then turn into workaholics. Jarjacha (Peruvian) – A Creepy llama-like creature with a human face. Kusa Kap (Australian) – Giant hornbill bird. Leontophone (M-European) – Lion killing or eating monster Muldjewangk (Australian) – Giant, monstrous mermen. Nian (Chinese) – Unicorn lions which hate the color red and loud sound Onocentaur (M-European) – Very brutal and evil centaurs, half donkey and half man/demon. Poreskoro (Romanian) – A child of Ana, the biggest and worst of them all. Quibungo (Brazilian) – A strange creature with a giant maw on it's back. Ramidreju (Spanish) – Green Weasel like creature that loves gold and which skin heals sickness. Sakabashira (Japanese) – A pillar yokai which is haunted by ghosts. Tiburon (Philippine) – Flying sharks from the Philippines. Uenitshikumishiteu (N-American) – Giant Otters which can swim in both water and earth. Virabhadra (Hindu) – Eight armed giants with powerful weapons in each hand. Whowie (Australian) – Half lizard and half insect. Xoc Detsahi (N-American) – Cactus hazard or Anaye, I turned them into Cactus-like Treants. Y Ddraig Goch (Welsh) – The Red Dragon from D&D. Zheng (Chinese) – Five tailed red panthers with a unicorn horn. Lol, and while searching for pictures I found a couple of really cool Ramidreju, which made me include the creature into my list now, so it isn't a rejected creature anymore! I keep it here though.

Atui Moro ekashi- weather is more baggy or more of a myth rep for the fantasy slimes its pretty cool Bigorne- and its female version made my list it was fun to draw creatures with so much sexual dimorphism. I made the bigorne bulky huge and wide in every way including its horns and the chicheface thin and long and extra full of teeth. Cath palug- a good giant cat monster. Even its name gives I the feel of being #1 big cat Erymanthian boar- most famous charging boar monster labor of hercules and son of the crommyonian sow therefore grandson of echidna its got a lot of potential but as is its a little plain looking Golfu- a non basilisk non gorgon with petrification cool. All I get is golf when I try to look for it Helhest - like it don't know what to with it tho Jarjacha- its unique Leontophone- for some reason ichneumon appeals to me more. Poreskoro- I like all the children of Ana. And mother of all monster myths are going to be very important to my projects. They are getting less rare but still not too many. Quibungo, nian, muldjewangk- they have potential Sakabashira- I like them. They feel like something you would run into in an RPG Tiburon- flying sharks are just awesome especially the what dragons from disgaea disgaea-hour-of-darkness.wikia.com/wiki/SerpentVirabhadra- I avoid using Hindu gods but if I did I would use... Wait a second raktabija was an asura not a god well this is great news for me Whowie- I only see it as a basilisk subspecies. But the part about it blinded burnt ghost could go somewhere Xoc detashi- another cactus anaye? Cool Welsh dragon- named dragons are good. Zheng- I like this one a lot. My bestiary is lacking in Chinese monsters

For the Helhest, I use them in my project as the steeds of the Death Coach and Dullahan, the Helhest can turn itself and it's rider into a spectral creature, so they can phase through walls. Maybe that is an idea for your project as well? Leontophone, that is my problem as well, Ichneumon does every thing the same, and better. Erymanthian is a bit boring compared to the other boar-like creatures I'm using... But it could be a low-level boar encounter while the other boar creatures are higher level. Bigorne, while I do use Chicheface as the cattle of the Horseman of Famine, I don't know how to use Bigorne, as Bigorne would be too much like other glutton-creatures like Gulon, Taotie and Khodumodumo. I don't use all the children of Anna in my project, but I do use most of them, but I changed them into very different creatures, the only one's I'm not currently using are Poreskoro, Melalo (too much like Zhenniao which I like better) and the centipede-mouse. All others are in my project. I use the Raktabija for a long time already, I changed them a lot though, as they are blood-mages in my project, being able to use their own blood and harden it into red-obsidian like weapons, shields and other things, they can also create duplicates (made of the same red-obsidian) of themselves, to regain their used blood they must drain other creatures of theirs. I've added the Whowie again to my project, it is now a chimerae, a half insect and half reptilian, I didn't have one of those yet. Atui Moro Ekashi, I used to have them as sea slugs in my project much like this pictureTo add a new creature to this topic: The Hodag... I used them as earth-drakes, but now I have Gowrow for that role, which are related to Nidhoggr in my project, which are earth dragons.

I'm a big fan of the hodags unique look the bulging eyes, horns and those teeth make for a pretty cool creature. Probably going to have issues coming up with abilities that set it apart later on but its unique look is a good start.
OK today's creatures Lobisomem- 2ft tall werewolves Nachtkrapp- raven with holes in its wings brings disease The blatant beast- from old literature the offspring of cerberus and chimera Achelous- a minotaur like water deity lost a horn fighting Heracles. Caleuche- ghost ship with warlocks, undead, sirens, and water horses around it. Cipitio- son of siguanaba big hat backwards feet can teleport.

Caleuche- ghost ship with warlocks, undead, sirens, and water horses around it. Cipitio- son of siguanaba big hat backwards feet can teleport. Maybe we shouldn't give every single creature a signature ability? Some are just cannon-folder? Hodag is good for that role, and for a early-game encounter. Lobisomen, I did use them one time, but I forgot what role they had in my game, so I don't think I like them very much. Nachtkrapp I use in my current line-up, as a giant undead raven bogeyman horror, that crawls on the ground like those Carrion Crows in the game Bloodborne., but freakier and more undead looking. Achelous, I used it many years ago for my greek-only project, but never in my current project, together with Aegipan which is a sea-based satyr. Caleuche, there must be a very good reason why you not use this awesome creature? Is it Naglfar you use instead? You don't really like Ghost Ships? I really love Caleuche and I use Naglfar (which is an undead ship) as a boss creature. Cipitio, never heard of this one before, but I'm not a very big fan of backward feet monsters. My new additions are: Tapire-Iauara (Venezuela) – Beast (Large)(Hostile) Tartalo (Basque) – Oni (Huge)(Hostile) Tatarigami (Japanese) – Elemental / Swarm (Colossal)(Hostile) Teumessian Fox (Greek) – Fey (Medium)(Hostile) Troll (Norwegian) – Troll (Large)(Hostile) Trolual (Norwegian) – Chimerae (Colossal)(Hostile) Tsemaus (N-American) – Beast (Huge)(Hostile)

BLOODBORNE your right they did the perfect version of nachtkrapp I like ghosts ship but I guess I never picked one to use or something I probably kept the backwards feet for one monster so far Tapire iuaura- it made my list early on but it eh
Tartalo- seems like a decent cyclops subspecies.
Teumessian fox- fastest creature in my bestiaries setting.
Troll - pretty much the mascot of Norse myth. Invisibility, glamour spells, strong, but also use magic, known weakness to/ afraid of lightning. And you get a lot of freedom in deciding how they look.
Trolual- weird tusked whale monster used on lot of maps, I like it
Tsemaus- hilarious thing is I was going to ask about this one too. I like it I think it has a nice list of abilities and it can look cool, making it look like something that can actually move and function is a little harder. It certainly has an odd shape shifting variety I like the downturned shark mouth that has potential.

I have the Michigan Dogman as a tulpa in Lore and Order, because there's actually a really interesting story behind it irl. A musician made a song called 'The Legend' in which he detailed completely made-up stories about encounters with a dog-headed humanoid. He was later shocked when people took it completely seriously and began reporting 'dogman' sightings of their own. Nowadays it's become a genuine cryptid alongside the Mothman and the Loch Ness Monster somehow. If that doesn't sound like a tulpa, I don't know what does. PS: I accidentally clicked 'send' before I'd finished my comment.

It certainly has an odd shape shifting variety I like the downturned shark mouth that has potential. I used Tapire Iuaura as one of my favorite prehistoric monsters the Andrewsarchus, but the stinking abilities are already used by a lot of other creatures such as Aniwye. I agree about the Tartalo, I used them as demonic/oni versions of the Cyclops, as I use Oni-spirits much like in Pathfinder, possessive demon spirits that take over other creatures bodies and turn them more demonic. That's why my project doesn't have a normal Troll or normal Oni, those are groups of creatures in my project, my project has many trolls, friendly and aggressive ones, such as Yehwe Zogbanu, Abuhuku and many others. Trolual, it is too much like my Leviathan, and I really wanted to use Leviathan AND Behemoth in my lists, Trolual is now among the alternative names for my Leviathan. Tsemaus is a very difficult one for me, I love it to death, but Ziphius and Sverdhvalur are too similar with the sharp dorsal fins, it eventually got down to the letters with which their names begin, as I have many creatures beginning with a T I choose the Ziphius that begins with the letter Z. (Silly I know, but that is how I work) I find the sharp-fin ability too awesome to overuse in my project, so Tsemaus is on hold right now... Which I don't like very much as I love the creature. Teumessian Fox as fastest creature? I gave the uncatchable/evasion ability to my Nguruvilu, as I never liked the name Teumessian Fox. My fastest creatures are Argolito, Kamaitachi, Pard and Mishibizhiw. My new creature: Huay Chivo. I used the Huay Chivo as evil satyr variant, but also as a Skinwalker variant that wears the skins of goats, as Satyr variant they were of the magic-using variety that can control and enslave wild beasts, rarely being encountered without some wild beasts/animals next to them. I cut them from my project because I choose for the Bocanach as my evil variant of the Faun/Satyr.

Also - About your earlier mention of the Argolito. It's probably one of my favourite Native American creatures mostly because I love modern UFO lore and the story in which the Argolito is mentioned reads almost exactly like a classic abduction narrative. A shepherd is taken aboard a craft by the Argolito in which he, and I quote, flies away to 'another world'. Valravn, if you want to use the Argolito in your project then perhaps they could work alongside your Greys. I know that you have Greys in your project, but I also think that you should have the classic 'little green men' just because of how diverse they are. There are loads of variant appearances and things based on modern ufology and ancient folklore, and the Argolito is a perfect example. Just to clarify, I'm interested in ufology from a folkloric point of view, and I do not neccessarily believe that space aliens have visited us in flying saucers. I'm not a tin-foil-hat person.

While I do use aliens in my project they are more like the (non spelljammers) D&D's aberrations (Beholders, Aboleth, Grells) from the Far Realm, my Greys don't use sciencefiction tools or laser weapons, they do experiment on other creatures, but they use their vast mind-powers to operate/change/disfigure other creatures, not a laser tool.
The Argolito are from the same "Far Realm" as the other aliens (Greys and others) from my project come from, they all came from the same world/system.
The Argolito don't really like the Grey's and attack them on sight, while Argolito are also aliens, they look less alien than the Grey for example. But since the Argolito are such a late addition to my project they still need a lot of thought and work to fit in my project, but I agree they should be aliens, which they are, but without futuristic tools though, i'm not a fan of starfinder and spelljammers, no guns, lasers and robots in my project. Instead of using spaceships, the aliens need teleportation portals and magic to travel through space. Or in the case of Argolito, their meteor-like travel.

That's cool - Also, the Argolito's spaceship is described in the link that I sent you as having a rope trailing out behind it, which could be interpreted as the flaming 'tail' of a meteor. The Argolito of L&O always carry a glowing whip-like weapon, which looks similar to the golden lasso demonstrated in the Wonder Woman movie - but obviously doesn't do the same thing.
